You’re doing everything you’re supposed to do—showing up, checking the boxes, pushing through—but something still feels off.
Maybe your body’s tired in a way rest doesn’t fix.
Maybe you’ve lost track of what drives you—or who you are outside the roles you play.
Maybe it feels like you’re constantly managing, performing, or holding back... and you don’t even know when that started.
I get it. I’ve lived it.
For years, I measured my worth by how much I could carry, how calm I could stay, how many people I could help without asking for help myself.
But that version of success left me burnt out and disconnected—from others and from myself.
What changed? I started listening—first to my body, then to what I really wanted. I stopped pushing and started guiding. I learned to lead from presence, not pressure.
Now, I help others do the same.
Whether you’re a high-achiever who's lost your drive, a leader who feels misaligned, or someone who simply wants to feel grounded again, I’ll meet you where you are. No judgment. No performance. Just real support for your next right step.
Let’s find your pace. Let’s run your race.
Today, I am living my best life! Healthy, Joyous, Loved. At peace. Not at all what the first 30 years of my life looked like.
My youthful daydreams centered on an untainted parallel life, the one that could have been mine, had my beginnings not been so broken. An ever-present longing for who I might have been. Many years spent grieving the endless possibilities.
I was born to a teenage mom; my life instantly became a story of pain and survival. When I first entered the world, I was a seemingly healthy 4lb 8oz premature little girl. But soon after birth, a low-grade fever indicated that something was wrong. It would take days to discover what it was.
Unknown to those taking care of me, a staph infection was spreading throughout my little body, settling into my joints, breaking me bit by bit from inside. Wreaking devastating havoc that would leave me permanently damaged. I would spend weeks in the NICU fighting for my life. The lasting damage from the staph infection would continue to show itself over the course of my lifetime. I’ve never known a body without pain.
This severe traumatic birth would be just the first in many more painful experiences. Family violence, sexual abuse, alcoholism, infertility, disease - have all become parts of my story. Some caused by external forces and people, others caused by my own coping mechanisms to survive.
I spent my childhood and early adulthood as a passenger of my own life. A victim with no self-love, I settled for scraps of affection. A perfectionist, always striving to perform my way in to being worthy. But never feeling good enough.
It wouldn’t be until my late 20s that I’d begin to change the unhealthy patterns and shift into the driver’s seat of my own life. I started to gain lessons from others while also soaking up as much knowledge as I could about healing trauma, spirituality, the law of attraction, the releasing of shame and meditation. All of these practices would help lead me to a loving husband and family, a group of amazing friends, a fulfilling career and a feeling of peace with myself.
In recent years, I’ve come to learn through loss, grief, forgiveness and letting go, that a soul never stops evolving. The lessons will never stop coming. Old patterns will creep back up. The journey to wholeness isn’t a straight line. Becoming is messy.
But with the right tools, mindset and people in your life, it is possible to thrive. I know that to be true. That’s been my experience. I continue to see the same impact in the women that I work with.
If you too are ready to take control of your own path forward, I’d be honored to walk beside you.
Some people lead by being the loudest in the room.
I’ve always believed in leading by listening. Whether I’m guiding a visually impaired runner across a finish line or helping a team navigate change, I show up with the same approach: observe, ask thoughtful questions, stay present, and trust the process. That’s where the breakthroughs happen.
For over a decade, I’ve worked in the credit union world as a leader, educator, strategist, and operator. But my real leadership lessons came outside the boardroom—through 4:00 a.m. runs, guiding blind athletes over unfamiliar terrain, and learning how to adapt in real time to the needs of the person beside me.
It turns out, helping someone feel safe, seen, and supported while they chase a goal is the ultimate form of service—and it’s where I thrive.
At Meghann Dawson LLC, I bring that same energy into our coaching work. I help people get back in touch with their physical strength, tap into mental clarity, and reconnect with the kind of quiet confidence that comes from knowing you can trust yourself again.
I’m not here to push. I’m here to pace with you. To guide when needed, cheer when called for, and remind you you’re stronger than you think.
